Tech work this week was focused on integrating the centercurve algorithm from Radiozoa into Chainmesh to enable graduated undersizing. We also completed all of the writing for our NIH grant applications, and met with Brooklyn Hospital’s podiatry chief, who had some very helpful insights around selecting a patient population, as well as some very good ideas regarding patient mobility and comfort. We finished off Chainmesh’s non-provisional patent and submitted it, which is great to have off our plate again. To work out logistics for the study, we planned out the PII handling with the scanning app development team. While thinking this through, it became clear that machine readable labels per garment were going to be much more helpful than human-readable ones, so we started working towards print-in-place mini-QR tags with the unique scan hash on them.
