Busy week this week! We hired Kiki, they’ll be working on the bioengineering, certification, and evaluation of the chainmesh product as it gets into the hands of care providers and patients. They bring a background in computational bio, ML, and cybersecurity. We planned all the materials-science based test campaigns for FDA/medical approval, both related to biocompatibility, and physical properties. In conjunction with that preparation for rigorous coupon testing, we began working on a print-in-place tagging system to track part histories for coupons, and soon part histories for patients. We closed the last holes of uncertainty in our generation technique related to inconsistencies related to closure information, so now the entire pipeline can be used more like a tool rather than a system that we are constantly fixing and tweaking. Not to say that there aren’t improvements to make, but this week was the first week where it felt like we didn’t need to spend any time fine-tuning some aspect to make it work with a particular model - it just worked.
