This has been a very logistics-heavy week, but incredibly exciting. We are wrapping up some exciting admin work to be announced soon, so a lot of logistics went into that. We also started going through our list of MCP experts that we hope to connect with and sending out messages to them using the video technical demo video we put together. In addition to that technical demo, we also started working on a more public-facing demo that uses NASA EVA footage to get as close to an apples-to-apples EVA comparison as possible. There’s a fair bit of glovebox footage of varying quality, but most of those keep a 4psi pressure delta across the glove, meaning the glovebox is only at ~10psia. While this is technically equivalent for gas-bladder suits, that wouldn’t be an accurate analog for MCP suits, so we’ve been pulling footage from NASA EVA video logs. Additionally, we had some great meetings about what potential routes for licencing specific applications of chainmesh could look like, which was very helpful.
