This was a big admin week - we decided late last week that we were going to submit two NIH SBIR grants (one for Chainmesh, one for Radiozoa) as soon as we could, so this week we put a lot of work into that. Nearly all of the writing is done, but unfortunately we are waiting more on the NIH to review and update us in some databases. Took quite a few hoops (I’ve heard some people spent 3-4 weeks on this, we will definitely be much faster), but at least we’ll have all the hard parts out of the way when we finally get through. The studies the grants would support wouldn’t take place until much later this year, but it would be a great way to get more research done in a clinical setting. While working on the chainmesh patent, we figured out that we might be able to use some of the math we developed for Zoa in order to undersize more accurately, so we are thinking about that and will take it on next week. Also, we got a first draft of Chainmesh non-provisional, which looks great. We are going to make some refinements, and are on track to get that to the USPTO next week.
