Very busy week last week! The two high level things were an overhaul to how optimal packings/linkings are found for chainmeshes given a link minor rad and gap spacing, and a lot of work going into a cleaner integration of how an older module of code integrates with the newer process for managing scan jobs. On the packing front, it turns out that the binary search technique we were using before was not working as well as we thought it was but was good enough for the ratios we usually use, so that has been replaced with a more complex evaluations process that gives us linkings that are substantially more stable across different gap/link dia ratios. On the scan management front, that has been overhauled, making it much easier to diagnose faults and iterate on it. Not really that sexy, but super important. On the more interesting side, we started designing the glovebox we’ll use to get some proof of concept for gloves and early human testing. Should get that ready for testing by the end of the month. Also by the end of the month, now that we have literally everything in place for the on-demand scan processing, metrics, and job order process, we are starting to talk to independent lymphedema clinics to see how our systems can best help them avoid taking the same patients every week for lymphedema wraps. Feeling very excited!
