Early in the week, I worked out a hacky way to paint-on rigidity and closures, and did a bunch of research into using PhysX for parallelized physics. On the rigidity side, the approach I had used would make later iteration tricky, so I’ll be revisiting this next week. PhysX is crazy powerful, but I’m going to need to dedicate quite a bit of time to migrating my workflow there, so I’ll do that down the road. I spent the rest of the week with my partner’s family for thanksgiving, which was wonderful.
