Excellent week this week. Lots of technical progress (in spite of the absurdly hot weather!) on code, softgoods, process automation, and FDA. We got solid bodies working within chainmesh - took longer than we were expecting, but ultimately a simpler solution ended up working better for us. Now we can focus on integrating it into the rest of the pipeline and ensuring really solid connections to SOL, which is much easier. Should be done by mid next week. We also got a custom RANSAC disc fit working, (so glad to be done with that!), and cleaned up a version of the scan orientation standardization, both of which are now being integrated into Tailor. Hopefully by the end, we’ll have a function which can quickly take any input mesh, and return a version that is ready for evaluation by Radiozoa or manufacturing into Starsocks! Met a new possible FDA expert; looking forward to running our study design by him and seeing if our current approach is the path of least resistance. We also fixed eyelets, which had been bothering us for a while - so glad to have that done. We tested new sources for soft touch velcro and plastic rivets, both of which look great, but we need a way to standardize seam width before we can really dive into using them.
